When shipping vehicles, we always custom make a support structure for each vehicle, ensuring it arrives safely to the final destination. In case you are moving your household along with your vehicle, we take further precautions to partition the vehicle from your other belongings which prevents damage (from shifting freight).

The standard document you will need to export your vehicle is the original ownership and some copies to accompany the export documents. Other documents or certificates may be required depending on the destination country. You can obtain these information from the local Customs Authorities or the destination custom broker.

Before you decide to ship your vehicle, you need to check if it is eligible to be received at the destination country. We recommend reviewing the regulations regarding vehicle import to ensure your vehicle complies with the local rules and requirements. Factors that may affect the eligibility to import to your destination country include but are not limited to the year of your vehicle, the taxes according to the year, the power of the engine, and other country specific regulations.

When you determine if your vehicle is eligible for importation, you will need a customs broker for the customs clearance at destination. In some countries, we are able to provide you with an agency if you don’t have your own. Then you should determine if the vehicle is imported for permanent or temporary (tourism) purposes, as the requirements for the license plates and taxes of import may differ for each of these uses.

For safety reasons, the battery will be disconnected during the trip. Also, please make sure your vehicle is very low/almost empty on fuel.

Finally, be prepared and do your research to choose the proper insurance plan at your destination country to cover your needs for your safety in the city commute or your road trips!
